The cooler weather always draws me to a ball of cozy yarn and a couple of knitting needles. Unfortunately, my knitting super skills exist only in my head and don’t make it down to my hands. Several years ago, I taught myself to cast on, knit, and purl with the help of a book. But if anything goes wrong, I’m stuck.
Now I am finally going to progress to the next knitting level. I received a very exciting email from Craftsy.com that they are currently offering FREE mini-classes in a variety of topics like sewing, cake decorating, painting and KNITTING! I first heard about Craftsy last month, and since then have been trying to decide which class to tackle first. I think the concept of these online self-paced classes is brilliant!
Which free classes are you going to try out? After knitting, I’m going to try out the cake decorating course. I’m pretty sure it’s going to make me hungry.
The following FAQ sponsored content provided by Craftsy.com to help you learn about their services. All thoughts above are 100% my own.

Why should I take a class online?
Online education isn’t just for schools and universities anymore. Craftsy courses provide you the convenience of a world-class instructor in your home, whenever you want to learn. Online education, no matter what subject, is a great alternative to in-person classes for a number of reasons.
With many online learning opportunities being on-demand, you are able to learn at your own pace, anytime. Online learning is a fantastic alternative to in-store craft classes for people with busy schedules or who have difficulty leaving the house.
